Pavers or Concrete
A lady came into the shop the other day asking for some advice.
She was planning on redoing her old asphalt driveway but didn’t know whether to concrete or pave as she lives near the ocean and was concerned about salt damage.
It is true that salt will damage concrete and concrete is prone to staining. Pavers whilst requiring more initial preparation to be laid are not as prone to staining and are generally not affected by salt.
Pavers stand the test of time
Pavers tend to hold their own and look good for a long time. Concrete develops that aged look quite quickly.
