Moldy PaversMold on your pavers is unsightly, however it is not uncommon on pavers that have either
poor drainage, are
constantly moist, are in an area that
doesn't get enough sunlight or a combination of all of the above.
The remedy is to try to
correct the causative problems. Correct the drainage problems and trim trees to encourage more sunlight.
Household bleach can be used to remove mold from your deck sand (follow manufacturers instructions and test on a small area first) and a
power hose will remove stubborn surface mold.
Remember though, that if the causative problem is not resolved the mold will return.
