Today we are drawing inspiration from the amazing artist Nicky Kriss whose stunning artwork has been featured on The Block!
Nicky’s artwork is inspired by the colours she sees around her and are the sort of statement piece that could really bring a room together. This piece of art here would look amazing hanging on wall built from black bricks such as the Blackstone brick from the Austral Bricks Expressions range, or white bricks such as the Crevole brick from the PGH Velour range.
If you have a more traditional looking brick wall such as the Chisholm brick from the PGH Sandstocks range, you might opt to go in for something a little different. Macrame wall hangings are very on trend at the moment and are great for complementing the rustic appearance of an exposed brick wall. This stunning work of art is available through The Knot Studio.
Planning on creating a white-washed brick wall as a feature in your home? We love the way this tiny fairy lights complement the rustic, dreamy feeling of the room. This photo was found via Urban Outfitters, however, you can find similar light sets at Typo in Australia.
Of course, you could leave your walls bare and let the bricks do the talking, but sometimes you just need to add a little bit of art into your life!
